device c sculpture -pen and prismacolor pencil on paper – 1996

part 3 of a series of devices or sculptures i created on paper using colored prismacolor pencils which were a favorite medium of mine before photoshop.

This one takes on a more sculptural shape, transforming it into a sort of emission spewing train engine, its lines mimicking some melted graffiti letter forms.
