LES ONE RUN

lESONE RUN – Digital – 2007/2024

Another practice session, this time over an old digital graffiti piece (the grey squiggles) which I’ve sharpened up with a sword-edged construction site orange outline.

Shout out to my boys SKAROK and KFUE (RUN KREW) for pushing me to the limits with the crazy spaghetti-rock styles. This isn’t my typical graffiti letterform signature mode, With this design, I attempted to catch up to my crew mates and the way they were completely deconstructing the letters during this time (2007.)

This is a known and existing style that comes from the Los Angeles graffiti master crews such as LTS, MSK, AWR, BAMC and others, but flipped here with some added seasonings.

Although I’ll always be a fan of the pure golden era aesthetics found on the New York subway trains of the late 70s and early 80s, this Los Angeles style holds a special place in my graffiti heart
