painted during a time I was doing a lot of record shopping, looking for the perfect sample. I’d buy ten or more at a time at 99 cents a pop. found some gems but mostly duds which got turned into Impromptu canvases.

funny dooly happy propaganda, painted during a time when the iraq war waged on the news daily. I saw an image, this time from afghanistan, of a severed head. the news spoke about the event and candy coated it as things that just happen in war. a national trauma we all experienced in real time.
