painted during a time I was doing a lot of record shopping, looking for the perfect sample. I’d buy ten or more at a time at 99 cents a pop. found some gems but mostly duds which got turned into Impromptu canvases.

This one takes on some stylized los angeles graffiti form shapes, typical of the style of the crews that were hot during this time such as the legendary LTS, MSK, AWR, and others. I’ve got a random B an R and S and some abstract alphabetized hybrid.

A mix of fluid, intertwining organic-like shapes, painted on a unique medium of a vinyl record.
